Hilemans Hit 1,000

Ayla Hileman and her mother, Amy (Hoy) Hileman are the first mother-daughter combo to each score 1,000 points for the Lady Pirates. Ayla accomplished the feat on Thursday, Jan. 26, and her mother reached 1,000 points 30 years ago in 1993. Ayla is the 14th player in Lady Pirates' history to reach 1,000 points.

Thursday was also "Be Like Heather" Black Out Night to honor Ayla's aunt, Heather (Hileman) Stewart, who died from cancer at the age of 44 in 2019. Heather's daughter, Brooke, plays on the Williamsburg team as well.
