Hoenstine to Join Red Flash

Central Senior Jeff Hoenstine will be trading his scarlet for red.

Football standout Hoenstine signed his letter of intent to Saint Francis University on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park.

This past football season, Hoenstine broke the state record for career touchdown passes thrown. Hoenstine is considered a "football standout," according to Athletic Director Stacy Kuster.

Hoenstine was joined by his parents A.J. (right) and Jane (center) and his brother Jay during his signing event.
