Accident Severed Man’s Hand

Martinsburg resident Christ H. Bowers of South Market Street fell against a circular saw at his home. The revolving disk severed the thumb of the left hand at the first joining and badly lacerated other parts of the hand.

Andrew Geist, while returning home from Altoona, was hurt when a horse he was driving in a small wagon became frightened by an electric car and ran away. In being thrown Mr. Geist was bruised and cut about the head. He was taken to a physician’s office in Hollidaysburg for treatment.
