Representative Simon F. Zook has introduced a bill to have established and maintained at the sole expense of the state the road from Williamsburg in Blair county over the Piney Creek road by way of Royer and Barbara to Martinsburg and connecting with state highway route 286. With this improvement and the improvement of the highway through Loysburg Gap, the connection between the William Penn highway and Lincoln highway would be greatly improved.
