During the public comment period of the Hollidaysburg Area School District Board of Directors committee of the whole meeting, parent Tony Luther spoke on school bullying. Luther said took him 11 months to be able to share his daughter’s story.

He told the board that his 12-year-old daughter and several of her friends were constantly being bullied by the same boy in Hollidaysburg Foot of Ten Elementary School. He said that as a result of the constant bullying, his daughter did not want to go to school, had sleeping issues, and had to seek counseling.
