Arlene Summers, 81, a resident of Carrington Place at Botetourt Commons, Daleville, VA, formerly of East Freedom, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday March 21, 2023, at the home.

She was born Feb. 7, 1942, in East Freedom, daughter of the late Roy and Mildred (Hollopeter) Eckard. She married Ralph G. Summers July 30, 1960, in Oakland, MD. He preceded her in death March 24, 2021.

She is survived by a daughter Tammy Donivan of Roanoke, VA, three sons: Ralph H. (Lena) of Huntington, Stephen (Nicole) of the Netherlands, and Jonathan (Kiera) of Kittaning, seven grandchildren: Dennis, Elizabet...
