Betty L. Smith

Betty L. Smith, 91, of Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, passed away March 24, 2023, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

She was born May 2, 1931, in Bakers Summit; daughter of the late George H. and Annie (Hoover) Sell. On May 10, 1953, in Roaring Spring, she was united in marriage to Charles L. Smith; together they spent 69 years.

She is survived by her husband, Charles L. Smith; children: Cheryl Pote (Joel), Kenneth L. Smith (Karen), Sharon Friedenberger (Max), and John H. Smith (girlfriend, April) all of Woodbury; grandchildren: Shawn Pote (Katie), Jessica Douglas (Brad), Jodie Case (Matt), Rya...
