Republican Rodney Green has announced his candidacy for Spring Cove School Board. Green will cross-file for both the Republican and Democratic tickets. 

Green is a native of Roaring Spring and has lived in that community for the past 34 years. He is currently serving on the Roaring Spring Borough Council. He is a 1970 graduate of Central High School, earned B.S and M.Ed. degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and has completed advanced studies at Penn State University.
