FEMA Announces Grant

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced a $5.2 million grant to create a variety of comprehensive incentives to help local fire companies build their memberships and retain current first responders. Cove area companies benefitting from the grant are Blue Knob, Claysburg, Freedom Township, Friendship Fire Company No. 1 (Roaring Spring), Martinsburg and Williamsburg.
