Early Harvest for Orchards

Warm temperatures the last part of March and rainy weather in April led fruit trees and plants to blossom early. The early blossoms could mean an early harvest if frost doesn’t get to them. Orchardists usually only need to worry about frost during the first two weeks of May, but with the early blossoms, frost has been a concern for several weeks already.
