Petty Officer 2nd Class Jordan Long, a native of Hollidaysburg, supports versatile missions while serving at Helicopter Mine Countermeasure Squadron (HM) 14.
Long joined the Navy seven years ago. Today, Long serves as an aviation electrician's mate.
"I joined the Navy because my great-grandfather worked on the boats during WWII as a machinist's mate," said Long. "I was always around him, so he inspired me to join."
