National Day of Prayer

 


National Day of Prayer is the first Thursday in May. This year that is May 4. There will be a number of gatherings. The public is invited to attend. Hopefully, you will be an attendee, perhaps even a participant. Think carefully about it. I have said prayer is “talking to God.” Perhaps you do not know what to say. In most cases, there will be prayer requests written out and available. My guess is they will include: schools, those in service to community and country, those in government, families, first responders, and more. So, you can simply read what is written. But there is a catch....
