To intercede basically means to get between two people in order to produce harmony or an agreement between them. Intercession is a type of prayer wherein a person comes before God on behalf of someone else. It is a choice decision and a matter of loving concern. Christian folks often do it on behalf of someone who is sick or injured. In fact, I suppose that 80 percent or more of the prayers offered in church are this type. I certainly affirm such prayers.
