Gail L. Keith

Gail L. Keith, 81, of Martinsburg, was called home by the Lord shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, May 9, 2023, at Homewood at Martinsburg.

At her request, a committal service was conducted privately at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg, Daniel Horton officiated.

She was born March 18, 1942, in Altoona, she was the eldest daughter of the late Kenneth P. and Helen G. (Cogan) Holt of New Enterprise.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl A., in 1967.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy C. of Winona Lake, Ind .; two sons, Rodger K. and Justin C .; and grandchildren Austin and Kaylee Keith, all of Martinsburg. A grandson, Ryan Keith, also survives in North Carolina.

A graduate of Elizabethtown College, she taught in the Williamsburg and Spring Cove school districts for eighteen years. She graduated from the Mount Aloysius College nursing program and was licensed as a registered nurse in 2004. She retired from Hollidaysburg Veterans’ Home as an RN due to health reasons in 2007.

A member of Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church, she worked in the children’s department. She loved serving the Lord and her family.
