Richard Blaine Pollard (Rich), 60, of Danville, died suddenly on Friday, May 19, 2023. He was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched.

He was born Aug. 27, 1962, in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Clyde F. Pollard Sr. and the late Judith A. Pollard. After Blaine graduated from Central High School in 1980, he went on to study at the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating with a degree in architecture, he enlisted in the United States Navy.
