Three persons were killed when their small plane crashed in a field near the Morrisons Cove Livestock Market along the Sale Barn Road in North Woodbury Township on June 10. Those killed in the plane crash were Dr. Daniel Burwell and his wife Jeanette of Altoona and a family friend, Deborah Leatherman of Duncansville. Witnesses said the plane came down nose first at a high rate of speed. The plane burst into flames after impact.
