Jerry L. Bush, 74, of Kernersville, NC, passed away at home on May 26, 2023 after a short illness. He was surrounded by his family as he passed.

Jerry was born Feb. 14, 1949 to Warren and Hazel Bush in Roaring Spring.

After Jerry graduated from Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in 1969, he went on to study physical education at Bethany College in West Virginia.

After graduating from Bethany College, he started his first job at Maryland School for the Deaf as an overnight student life counselor, kickstarting a 34 year career. He also had the privilege of coaching basketball, where th...
