Central Student Visits Her Artwork Displayed in D.C.


Congressman John Joyce, was joined by Avery Kasun and her parents, Jennifer and Brett Kasun, in Washington, D.C., last week.

Avery, a Central High School student, recently won PA13's Congressional Art Competition for "Number 11," a charcoal representation of the Everett Railroad steam locomotive that was rehabilitated in her own community.

Her artwork will be on display in the United States Capitol Building for the upcoming year.
