James (Jim) Albert Loose died on June 13, 2023.

Jim was born in Martinsburg, PA on August 13, 1939. He graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1957 and attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1961. After graduation, Jim served in the Merchant Marines as a licensed Engineer. Upon completing his service, Jim started his career as an Engineer at International Salt Company in Watkins Glen, NY.
