Russell A. Wyles

Russell A. Wyles, 80, of Woodbury Pike, Roaring Spring, passed away June 24, 2023, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

He was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Bakers Summit; son of the late James P. and Ida M. (Settlemeyer) Wyles. On Nov. 23, 1963, in New Enterprise, he was united in marriage to Janet Louise (Baker) Wyles; she preceded him in death on Jan. 1, 2019.

Russell was a Class of 1961 graduate of R.P. Smith School and owner of the Russell A. Wyles Dairy Farm. He enjoyed hunting, going to the races at Bedford and Eldora Speedways, watching sporting events, and showing dairy cows with whom he won many award...
