Games and Music Enjoyed

Miss Grace Skyles delightfully entertained a number of friends at her home on Saturday evening. Very interesting games and excellent music were enjoyed, and a dainty luncheon was served by the hostess. The guests report a fine time. Those present were: Rose Lower, Mary Books, Margaret Straesser, Helen Martin, Gertrude Burket, Florence Boals, Grace Skyles, Roy Brumbaugh, Keim Bomebreak, Tom Bonebreak, Ella Sanders, Mrs. Mary Ashcom, Mr. and Mrs. W. U. Skyles.

The Baker’s Summit Union Sunday school will hold its annual picnic in Lydic’s grove at Baker’s Summit, Saturday, July 28. Band music will be furnished, and a game of ball will be played in the afternoon between the home team and the Chaco team of Altoona.

An ice cream festival will be held on Saturday night, July 21, at Salem Reformed church, Beavertown. Come out and enjoy the evening.
