'Cove Tradition' Persists During Cove Carnival

The Martinsburg Booster Association held its annual Chicken BBQ on Saturday, July 15. Volunteers prepared meals in the Booster Alley Kitchen at the Morrisons Cove Memorial Park. Proceeds from sales benefit community projects.
Shown are Jim and Lois Edwards enjoying a quiet chicken dinner they purchased from the Martinsburg Booster Association. The Edwards are residents of Homewood.
Also shown are photos of volunteers prepping for the sale, which is considered a Cove tradition.
