Community Historian Harriett Gaston spoke to a capacity crowd at the Railroaders Museum for the Blair County Historical Society's Speaker Series.

She said that she was hoping to find, share and document the history of African Americans in this community of Blair County and beyond.

"I want to show what I have found makes the evidence (of the Underground Railroad) that has been put out there before me."
