Jannet L. Frederick

Jannet L. Frederick, 98, a resident of Midtown Oaks Health & Rehab Center, Altoona, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 18, 2023, at UPMC Altoona.

She was born Nov. 19, 1924, in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Albert and Mirla (Mauk) Butler. On March 26, 1946, she married Dean W. Frederick in Winchester, Virginia. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 2005, following 59 years of marriage.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Elliott, of Martinsburg; four grandchildren: Lisa Ponder (Jim) of Roaring Spring, Randy Wagner (Jen) of Johnstown, Kris Wagner of Virgini...
