Post Delivers Blood Types

The Murray-Appleman Post, American Legion of Roaring Spring delivered a card file listing the blood types of almost 200 World War II veterans to Nason Hospital for the hospital to use in case of an emergency need for blood. The Post also notified the hospital that it would purchase an incubator for premature babies.

Larry , small son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Musselman of near Woodbury suffered painful cuts and brush burns recently when he got in the way of a disc harrow and was dragged some distance by the discs before being pushed to the side of the road. The child, 18 months old, was taken to Nason Hospital.

Miss Lethian Detwiler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Detwiler of Martinsburg, and Richard Haney, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Haney of Williamsburg, were united in marriage on Aug.12 The bride is employed as a secretary to Blair M. Bice, Herald publisher.Mr. Haney is employed as a printer at the Herald.
