Joseph S. Stayduhar, 59, of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, Aug. 4, 2023, at his home.

He was born Nov. 6, 1963, in Roaring Spring, son of the late Martin John and Coralie R. (Whalen) Stayduhar. On May 14, 1988, he married Angela B. Shoenfelt at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Roaring Spring.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Angie; three sons: Mick Stayduhar (Kirstie) of Martinsburg, Andrew Stayduhar (Jes) of Bellefonte and Matt Stayduhar of Williamsburg; a daughter, Kara Stayduhar (Steven Carberry) of Lakemont; two grandchildren: Adaleigh and Connor Stayduhar; a brother, Stephen B. Stayduhar (Katie) of Canonsburg; and nieces and nephews.

Joe was a 1981 graduate of Central High School in Martinsburg. In 1985 he earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Penn State Altoona and in 2006 completed a bachelor of science degree from Mount Aloysius College in surgical technology.

He worked for five years at Williamsburg Beverage and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Williamsburg. Joe enjoyed reading, watching television and his trip with Angie to Ireland.

Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until noon, Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, (www.bolgerfuneralhome.com), where a funeral service outside of mass will be held at noon. Father Aron Maghsoudi will be celebrant.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
