Notwithstanding the war, and hot weather, matrimony is still remembered. On Tuesday our neighbor over the way, Mr. E. C. Korb married Miss Elsie Nofsker. Brother Wallace did the business and his exchequer was replenished thereby.
Dr. S. M. Royer made a professional trip to Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia on Monday. He was accompanied by his nephew, Royer Hartman of Royer.
It has been reported that lump jaw has made its appearance in cattle in certain sections of the country. This disease bars the cattle from the market a beef cattle.
