Charles Edward Stayer

Charles Edward “Chuck” Stayer, 65, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday morning, July 25, 2023, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 1, 1958, in Altoona, son of the late C. Virgil and Anna E. (Wolf) Stayer.

He is survived by a brother, William M. “Bill” Stayer (Denise), of rural Martinsburg.

He was preceded in death by his son, Davey.

Chuck was a 1976 graduate of Altoona Area School District and went on to receive his associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State Altoona.

He retired in 2020 from SCI Houtzdale, with more than 20 years of service.
