Eric Van Pittman of Martinsburg, passed away Aug. 3, 2023, at UPMC Pittsburgh after a long battle with cancer.

He was born Dec. 31, 1958, in Everett, son of the late Arland Pittman and Arlene Pittman of Homewood in Martinsburg.

He is survived by a son Ty Pittman and granddaughters Adalyn, Aubrey, and Avery of Altoona; aunts Joyce Criswell of Everett, Velma Morris (Clyde) of Everett, and Joyce Pittman of Pittsburgh; and cousins Connie Micatrotto, Kirt Morris, Jill Payne, Cindy Speck, and Lana Timmins.

He was preceded in death by his uncles Wilmer Lashley, Dan Dears, and John Criswell.
