Farm Show Honors Williamsburgers

At the Blair County Antique Car Show on Sunday, Aug. 20, held at the Farm Show grounds, the family of the late Scotty Brua presented an award to Ed Gorsuch - the owner of a 1933 Plymouth Coupe. Brua's family chose this car because Scotty loved attending the car show and thought he would have enjoyed seeing this car. Shown (top left photo) are Gorsuch along with Scotty's father, Brad.

The Grand Marshal of the Farm Show Parade was Marvin Anderson. Anderson (bottom left photo) received an Artificial Heart in May of this year.

In the right photo, Tracy Berone of the Department of Agriculture (right) awards Tim Tate the Friend of the Fair award on behalf of his many years as both an exhibitor and chairman of the fruits/vegetables division at the Farm Show. Williamsburg Community Farm Show Board President Jeff Walason said of Tate, "It was sad to see him retire. He gave the Farm Show many great years, and we are so appreciative."
