Family Celebrates 126th Annual Whiteleather Reunion

On Sunday, Aug. 13, Connie (Whiteleather) Skvir and Larry Skvir, formerly of Williamsburg, attended the 126th annual Whiteleather family reunion which was held in East Rochester, Ohio.

The Whiteleather family in the United States traces its origins to Andrew Weissleder (Whiteleather). Andrew, originally born in 1757 as Johann Andreas Christoph Weissleder, came from the German town of Stiege in the Hartz Mountains.
