Facing the Chestnut Ridge Lions, the Central Dragon Boys Soccer team cinched a 4-2 victory in their season opener. At 14:12 in the first half, Avery Campbell scored the first goal of the game assisted by Jacob Heuston. The Dragons then held off the Lions until 31:43 where Chestnut Ridge tied the game with a score of their own. Early in the second half, at 48:27, Alexander Eicher scored for the Dragons assisted by Logan Hummel. The Lions tied the game at 2-2 at 54:12 shortly after.
