Hart in Motion Features Youth Performers

Hart in Motion Baton and Dance Studio, locally based in New Enterprise, recently showcased the talents of their students with a year end recital at the Mishler Theatre in Altoona on Sunday, Aug. 20.

Shown in the photo (from left) are Saylor Smith, Hazel Shope, Mazie Guyan, Finnick Walker, Kaycee Lynn and Mackenzie Welty.

This studio offers baton and dance lessons to children beginning at three years of age. Registration is held in December, fundraising in January and February and lessons begin in March and last until August.

The group also performed at the Altoona Curve on Saturday, Aug. 26.

The baton group also performed at half time with the Northern Bedford band and band front at their youth night, which also involves the youth football players and youth cheerleaders during the pre-game portion.
