Mr. M. Z. Bassler of Henrietta has been installed as associate editor of the Herald. He is well and favorably known throughout Morrisons Cove as a local writer of experience and is thoroughly competent to fill the position.

The love-feast held by the German Baptist Brethren in the Replogle church was largely attended, but it seems there are always a few persons who cannot learn to go to these places without disgracing themselves and their families with their bad conduct.
