The Horseshoe Cloggers of Newry have been dancing together since the early 1980s, offering lessons and doing performances all across central Pennsylvania. How can you become a Horseshoe Clogger? The group hosted try-it-night on Monday, Sept. 25, at the Newry Lions Club starting at 7 p.m.
Clogging is a more modern dance style and dances to many different genres of music, including bluegrass, country, patriotic, Irish, and more. They make their noise from a special kind of shoe that has double taps that move back and forth to make an extra type of jingle sound.
