Gail E. Mellons, 73, a resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, passed away early Tuesday morning, Sept. 19, 2023, at the home.

She was born July 27, 1950, in Roaring Spring, a daughter of Arlene B. (Ayers) and the late Harry F. “Don” Long.

Surviving along with her mother are four children: Christopher Harclerode, Cathy Whitman, Amber Grubb, and Holly Tolley; five grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Long.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Harclerode, and a sister, Linda Gorman.
