In a two-match week, the Lady Dragon Volleyball team faced both the Bishop Carroll Lady Huskies and the North Star Lady Cougars. Sadly, both hard-fought matches ended in 3-1 losses for the Dragons.
Against the Huskies, despite a 25-18 victory in the first set, the Dragons fell to the Huskies in the final three sets with scores of 25-10, 25-14 and 25-22. Kaitlyn Weitzel had 10 kills, nine assists, two aces and 16 good digs, meeting a career achievement of 1,000 assists. Makenna Kocsis had 10 good digs, and Dessa Boyles had three stuff blocks.
