Northern Bedford County School District’s Plancon hit another snag that may delay construction for up to a year. The proposed work would fall just short of the requirements for an environmental permit, leaving no room for additional development. The board decided to apply for the National Discharge Elimination System Permit, even though it could take up to a year to be approved.
