Numerous Seasons To Open Saturday

Numerous hunting seasons open this Saturday (Oct. 14). At one time only small game seasons would come in on Saturday; but the PGC has expanded deer seasons, and one of them begins on Saturday. This is the statewide muzzleloader season. Only antlerless deer are legal during the one-week hunt that ends on Oct. 21. A special firearms season for antlerless deer begins in midweek, on Oct. 19.
