The Southern Cove Power Reunion had to cancel its tractor pull on Oct. 14 due to the weather. Mark Wisecarver had rented the grounds for the morning for an outside auction as he does every fall.

Hundreds of folks came out for the auction despite the rain. The SCPR kitchen opened at 7 A.M. for breakfast sandwiches and hot drinks. They continued serving food for lunch and the kitchen stayed open until 2:45 p.m.

Despite the rain folks were in good spirits and enjoyed drinking hot chocolate and coffee.

The peanut sale for the Power Reunion will remain ongoing until the last tractor pull. This...
