Fire at Bobcat in Martinsburg Claims One Life, According to First Responders

Fire tore through Bobcat in Martinsburg Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 17. While not many details were available at press time, it was around noon when employees of the BCO Mart noticed fire that one employee said appeared to be coming from under a truck in the parking lot. They then noticed smoke pouring from the building and called 911.

The building was fully engulfed in flames when crews from at least six fire departments arrived minutes later. Firefighters were still on the scene fighting the blaze at press time.
