"We were all friends with him," Martinsburg Mayor Rich Brantner Sr. said of William "Bill" Peck, who was recently buried at Arlington National Cemetery with his wife, Rose.
Brantner along with three classmates - Dan Ross, John Mayhue and Dave Stubbs - traveled to Arlington on Tuesday, Sept. 5, for the military honors funeral. Peck was a classmate of Brantner's and a member of the Williamsburg High School Class of 1965. Peck passed away in October of 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.
