As the Wreaths Across America ceremony approaches on Dec. 16, organizers would like to introduce the veterans at Mount Pleasant Cemetery who will be remembered. The Mount Pleasant Cemetery may be small in comparison to other local cemeteries, but there are 48 fallen veterans who proudly served this nation who are laid to rest there. The Hickory Bottom Cemetery is included in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Association; therefore, the seven Civil War Veterans and two Revolutionary War Veterans will be honored following the wreath laying at Mount Pleasant.
