Lady Dragons Go 50/50

In a week with two matches, the Lady Dragon Volleyball team found one loss and one victory. Their loss came against the Hollidaysburg Lady Tigers with a score of 3-0, while their victory came over the Bishop Guilfoyle Lady Marauders with a score of 3-0 as well.

Against the Tigers, the Dragons had a slow night and sadly took a loss in all three sets with scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-12. Kaitlyn Weitzel had four kills and four aces, while Amber Shade had five assists.

Against the Marauders, however, it was a completely different story. The Dragons dominated with winning set scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-18. Weitzel had seven kills and 12 assists, while Madison Kennedy had three aces, nine good digs and five kills. Makenna Kocsis had three aces and 11 good digs as well. Shade had 11 assists, while Heather Brumbaugh and Dessa Boyles had five and four stuff blocks respectively. Aubrey Rhodes added six kills as well.

With a record of 6-12, the Dragons will have a sole home game against the Northern Bedford County Lady Panthers in the upcoming week.
