Plans Underway for Shortage

The Spring Cove School Board was making plans for a fuel shortage that could leave some schools without heat in the coming winter. Gulf Oil Corp., the district’s oil supplier, told the district it would be subject to monthly fuel allotments equal to the amount of oil used the previous year during the same month.
