Attendees of the last United We Stand luncheon of the fall had a chance to listen to a real hero. Retired PA State Trooper Tim Strohmeyer is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Gulf War during Operation Desert Storm and is a State Police Medal of Honor and Purple Heart recipient. He is also the 2013 International Police Officer of the Year recipient, awarded by the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
