Miss Susie Kauffman gave a linen shower on Thursday evening last week for Miss Flora Burket, in honor of her approaching marriage to J. Calvin Eastep of Hollidaysburg.

The ladies of the Class of Cheerful Workers and of the U-Go-I-Go Class of St. John’s Reformed Sunday school will host a supper called the Feast of the Seven Tables at Bridy’s Inn on the evening of November 23. A full meal, including ice cream and cake, will be fifty cents.
