Men Participate in Bear Hunt

A group of young men from Martinsburg participated in a bear hunt Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in the mountains near Renovo. Included in the group were LeRoy Keim, Eugene Feather, Robert Metzger, Clair Replogle, John, George and Merle Metz, and Blair Smith. They reported seeing one bear, but none was shot during the trip.

Miss Joyce Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Williams of Roaring Spring, left Washington D.C. for Germany. She will serve as a civilian secretary in the occupation forces.
