By going a perfect 10-0 in the regular season, Central earned a day off last week, the Scarlet Dragons getting a bye in the District 6 football playoffs because Somerset chose not to enter the postseason.
All things considered, Dragons coach Dave Baker would rather have played.
Who wants to change it up when things are going well?
"I've always felt you're better off having a game," Baker said. "The team will develop better because the kids are more interested and it's a better situation."
