The Central Scarlet Dragons defeated previously undefeated Richland to win the District 6 Class AA title at Mansion Park in Altoona. The Dragons travel to DuBois on Saturday Nov 30 to compete against District 10 champion, the Hickory Hornets.

The Martinsburg Community Library was holding a “Technology Petting Zoo” for patrons to try out current electronic devices like the iPad, Nook Color and Kindle Fire. The digital librarian from the Altoona library was on site to help attendees with the devices.
